Carmina's Valentine Rice Crispies Treats Recipe

For a long time been wanting to make my favorite American treat usually use rice Krispy cereal. The only problem it is not available in the grocery store in the Philippines. I was thinking how can resolve my problem while looking online found out  Chef Reseby Baking Supplies  sells rice crispie similar with what I need. Valentine's Day is coming up found candy sprinkle often use for cupcakes. The items are local not that expensive someone can make it if they would like too. Many of us love eating garlic butter shrimp and find it other ways to make a meal. Carmina decided to cook garlic shrimp pasta from her leftovers. It is very easy to make and who knows your friends will ask for more. Carmina's Garlic Shrimp Pasta Recipe Ingredients: 1/2 Kilo - Fresh Shrimp (remove shell and removing the sand veins on the side) 2 Tbsp. - Fresh Garlic (minced) 2 Tbsp. - Butter - Any brand  Garlic Powder Black Pepper Salt Cooked Fettuccine pasta noodles (any kind will do go based on how much plan to consume) Cooking: In a pot add butter and garlic let it cook in low heat than add the shrimp until it turns pink on both ends. Chicken Soft Taco Recipe

Carmina wanted to try something new with using boneless chicken thighs instead of ground meat. Chicken Soft Taco Recipe Ingredients: 12 pieces - Boneless Chicken Thigh (sliced into strips) 1 - Taco Seasoning (any brand) Cooking Oil Tortilla (any brand) Romaine lettuce (sliced thinly) Salsa  Cheese (any brand and grated) To get the  Salsa Recipe  click the name along with other recipes.  Preparing: I did the reverse by marinating the boneless chicken thighs by slicing them first into strips adding the hot water to half cup along with taco seasoning. I find it easier to use hot water rather cold to let the seasoning dilute faster. I placed the boneless chicken thighs with the mixture of taco seasoning inside the refrigerator for one hour. Let it soak before pan frying the boneless chicken thigh.  Cooking: Start heating cooking oil on the frying pan until hot add some chicken strips making sure there is enough space. People say carrots are for rabbits.  Carmina decided to make her carrots the healthy way. Easy Carrots Fries for Air Fryer Ingredients: 2 - Pieces of Carrots (washed, peel and slice into thin slices) Olive Oil Garlic Powder Preparing: Add the olive oil and garlic powder let it sit for twenty minutes to absorb on both sides of the carrots. Cooking: Place it on your tray of your air fryer making sure there is space.  Cook in the setting what is instructed for fries. I cooked mine for ten minutes no need to turn it over. I had to use the air fryer two times since there wasn't room to fill the whole tray. Easy Air Fryer Spareribs Recipe

Mom Violy gave Carmina some spareribs. Carmina went to the grocery store and purchased paprika, cumin and onion powder the ingredients I don't have off hand. Carmina defrosted the spareribs and sliced it up. Easy Air Fryer Spareribs Recipe Ingredients: 1 Tbsp. - Brown Sugar 1/2 Tsp. - Paprika Powder 1/2 Tsp. - Onion Powder 1/2 Tsp. - Cumin Powder 1/2 Tsp. - Salt 1/2 Tsp. - Black Pepper Spareribs (slice per bone) Olive Oil BBQ Sauce Preparing: Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl add to the spareribs. Let it marinate over night in the refrigerator. Air Fryer: Add olive oil front and back of the spareribs before placing inside the air fryer. Cook for 15 minutes depending on the ratio of your air fryer make sure you flip it in between the time frame. Crab Fried Rice Recipe

Carmina had leftover imitation crab used for the  lazy sushi  over the weekend. Having friends over tend to have leftover food best to make something out of it for the following week. Carmina used her leftover white rice and imitation crab to make fried rice. Crab Fried Rice Recipe Ingredients: 3 Cups - Day Old Rice Half Kilo - Imitation Crab or fresh crab  2 - Eggs (beaten season with black pepper) 1 Tbsp. - Oyster Sauce 1 Tbsp. - Kikkoman Lite Soy Sauce Garlic Powder (based on your taste) Cooking Oil Cooking: Use a medium size cooking pot place on the stove top on low heat add the cooking oil and eggs mix it until it becomes scramble egg. Add the rice mix together once rice is separated add the imitation crab mix together. Start adding the oyster sauce, soy sauce and garlic powder. Try the crab rice and see if it based on your taste. When you think about it Carmina is going advance, we are approaching the month of March in the Philippines summer is coming. People tend to place themselves in a diet or go toward a healthy style of living. Just happened to Carmina's condition which is not really bad since we can work around by food we can eat. Carmina has started eating wheat bread found the best one she has preferred to purchase in the Philippines. Plant Based Salmon Pho Soup Recipe

Often when you cook food that is plant based it may taste off from your taste buds.  Must try this one because you won't know it is healthy for you.  Carmina was able to make salmon pho soup by using same ingredients in my recipe of  Vietnamese Pho Soup . The only difference we would revise the broth by adding the one cube of  Massel Instant Pho Cubes Plant Based . Plant Based Salmon Pho Soup Recipe Ingredients: Salmon (pre-cooked) 1 - Piece Vermicelli (soak in hot water) 6 Pieces - Fish ball (any brand and sliced in the middle) Vegetables of your choice 2 Cups - Water 1 Piece of Massel Pho Soup Plant Based Cube Cooking: Just add two cups of water in a small pot once it begins to boil add one cube of Massel Pho Soup Plant based broth mashed it. Salmon Potato Salad Recipe

When you have so many marble potatoes in your kitchen tired of eating them the same way. Carmina had leftover salmon she had grilled in her air fryer the other day. I was craving for potato salad since not allowed to eat any chicken right now. I was thinking why I can't improvise my ingredients to my potato salad in my home. Salmon Potato Salad Recipe Ingredients: Grilled Salmon (remove bones) Marble Potatoes (boiled and sliced in the middle) 1/2 - Onions (chopped) Mayo (any brand) Preparing: First thing to do is remove all bones from the salmon a way to do it use a fork by mashing it.  Place it in a bowl by adding all ingredients no need to season since the salmon was already seasoned with salt and black pepper. Carmina got tired eating boneless bongus with salt and black pepper. Carmina decided to play by ear and try mixing ingredients together and see how it would work out. It was successful would like to share to you in case you're the type who love to cook to explore. Teriyaki Boneless Bangus Recipe Ingredients: 1 - Pack of Boneless Bangus not marinated (any brand) 1/2 Cup - Kikkoman Lite Soy Sauce 1/2 Cup - Brown Sugar 1 Tbsp. - Minced Garlic 1/2 Tsp. - Black Pepper 1 Tbsp. - Cornstarch Plastic Container with lid Marinated Sauce Combine all ingredients together in the plastic container mix together before adding the boneless bangus. After eating my air fryer vegetable fritters, I felt my mouth was too dry. I needed something else to add to my meal. I came up with vegetable fritters udon cabbage soup to fill me up.  Vegetable Fritters Udon Cabbage Soup Recipe Ingredients: 1 - Pack of Udon Noodles 3/4 - Cup of Cabbage (shredded) 2 Cups - Water 1 - Vegetable Stock Cube (any brand) 1 - Thumb size garlic (thinly sliced) 1 - Tbsp. Carmina went shopping at Farmers Market in Cubao, Quezon City with Mom Violy. For the first time I decided to purchase some fresh salmon. I had no clue how much it would cost and found out the price per kilo is 800 pesos.  I asked the seller if they can sell it for me half kilo of 400.00 pesos. The person asked how it wanted sliced and how thick.  They offered to have it fillet or sliced. I requested it to be sliced since no clue how I was planning to cook it at that time. Carmina is exploring in her kitchen trying new recipes.  My challenge to myself is cook with just vegetables. I know it is humid in the Philippines although craving for some tomato soup and potatoes. Last week I went grocery shopping and purchase some vegetables planning to make some chicken afritada, chicken curry and other dishes with meat.   Carmina wanted to explore by trying something new to cook. I went to the grocery store while I was there doing some errands. I had random picked some French beans that was sold by weight and pre-packed in the fresh vegetables for 33.00 pesos ($0.59). Carmina's French Beans Recipe Ingredients: Pack of French Beans 1 Tbsp. Butter (any brand) 3 Cloves Garlic (chopped) Onion (chopped) Patis (based on your taste) 1/4 Cup Water Cooking: I used a small sauce pot added the butter let it melt adding the garlic, onion sauté.  Some people would boil the French beans ahead of time.
