When the longing for authentic Pinoy dishes strikes in the U.S., Isla Grand stands ready to transport your taste buds back to the Philippines.

Carmina is traveling to the United States to spend time with her family. My dad planned a family gathering for Mother's Day at their favorite Pinoy restaurant . Since reservations aren’t possible, we arrived an hour early to ensure we could get a table for twelve before everyone else showed up. Cebu, Philippines

Everytime my mom gets one year older she would rather not have a big party on her birthday. She would rather travel and run away to experience a new destination.

This time my mom wanted to visit Cebu. This vacation we didn't have a tour guide we just explored on our own.

This is how the ceiling looks like from then bottom

Steam Lapu Lapu

Crab cooked with butter and garlic

Adobo kangkong

This is where you have to order your food before you can seat down in the restaurant. All the seafood are fresh and you can tell them how you want it to be cooked.

This is their old bridge in Mactan Cebu.

We just stayed in the Waterfront Hotel and Casino to take pictures of the surrounding.
