Mom Violy wanted to eat crispy pata and pinakbet from Seafood Island Restaurant located in Cubao, Quezon City near the old Shopwise. We had arrived early being the first customers waiting for the restaurant to open. Few minutes later customers began entering the restaurant and we have already placed our order. Mom Violy ordered her crispy pata and pinakbet. Carmina ordered garlic butter shrimp since I don't eat crispy pata. Family member ordered calamari and shrimp fried rice. Carmina had visited the United States my Aunt Hermie had invited Mom Violy and I to spend time with her. Aunt Hermie drove during the time. I was her assistant in the back seat when Aunt Hermie wanted some certain fruits to peel to wake her up during her long drive.
Lake Tahoe from her home is 3 hours and 37 minutes' drive.
We had lunch in Hard Rock Cafe in Lake Tahoe.
We had stayed in Harris Hotel and was able to try real fine dinning with some dancing with the other VIP stands for Very Important Person.
My Aunt Hermie had tickets to watch a concert at the hotel. I was able to experience watching a live concert in front of me. The band was Fabulous Boys.
The next day we ate at the hotel before we had headed back home.
