She remembered Becky mentioning them a few days ago, so she decided to grab a package since it was only around two hundred pesos. So often when we are watching Korean drama we tend to pick up words from the television series. One time my Aunt went to visit us and she had informed me her husband who works in a different country went to visit her during the holiday season.
She was all caught up with her Korean show that she didn't pay any attention to her husband. Her husband was telling her some of his problems at work. Her response was "FIGHTING". In terms from the Korean they use the word fighting in terms to keep going even if you can't handle the pressure. It is like giving yourself a push of support that you can do better to solve your problem.

My aunt instead of calling her husband's real name. She had slipped and called him Oppa in Korean it means older brother. It is someone who is older than you can be used for your boyfriend, husband or any one who is older than you in not romantic way.
There are some people who takes picture use the heart symbol or peace sign when they are taking pictures with group of friends.
So people follow the trends in what they see when they watch Korean drama. They also copy what clothes they are wearing to be hip in style. There are so many Korean products in the Philippines that are inexpensive in other places due to we are closer to the Asia country.
