Mom Violy Craving for Filipino Dishes from Seafood Island Restaurant

Mom Violy wanted to eat crispy pata and pinakbet from Seafood Island Restaurant located in Cubao, Quezon City near the old Shopwise. We had arrived early being the first customers waiting for the restaurant to open. Few minutes later customers began entering the restaurant and we have already placed our order. Mom Violy ordered her crispy pata and pinakbet. Carmina ordered garlic butter shrimp since I don't eat crispy pata. Family member ordered calamari and shrimp fried rice. Everyone had a taste of our meals with leftovers to bring home. Watch my video  Running Errands in the Philippines . NOT SPONSORED. Based from Realistic and Drama Series

So often when we are watching Korean drama we tend to pick up words from the television series.  One time my Aunt went to visit us and she had informed me her husband who works in a different country went to visit her during the holiday season.

She was all caught up with her Korean show that she didn't pay any attention to her husband. Her husband was telling her some of his problems at work. Her response was "FIGHTING". In terms from the Korean they use the word fighting in terms to keep going even if you can't handle the pressure. It is like giving yourself a push of support that you can do better to solve your problem.

Her husband responded to his wife what are you telling me to fight with my employee. (lol)

There are a lot of people who watch too many Korean drama never really pay attention to their surroundings. They get all absorbed in their shows that what ever they are watching they no longer pay attention to their environment.

Some times it is not good when you watch so many television you become unaware of your surroundings. You get lost and no connection comes in mind.

My aunt instead of calling her husband's real name. She had slipped and called him Oppa in Korean it means older brother. It is someone who is older than you can be used for your boyfriend, husband or any one who is older than you in not romantic way.

There are some people who takes picture use the heart symbol or peace sign when they are taking pictures with group of friends.

So people follow the trends in what they see when they watch Korean drama. They also copy what clothes they are wearing to be hip in style. There are so many Korean products in the Philippines that are inexpensive in other places due to we are closer to the Asia country. The benefit from shopping in the Philippines we don't have any taxes when you purchase clothing or accessories.

You can buy so much from your money.

Filipinos love their beauty products, but some time you really need to watch out on the fake and the original. Some time you cannot determine which is fake only once you use it and the texture is different.
