Mom Violy Craving for Filipino Dishes from Seafood Island Restaurant

  Mom Violy wanted to eat crispy pata and pinakbet from Seafood Island Restaurant located in Cubao, Quezon City near the old Shopwise. We had arrived early being the first customers waiting for the restaurant to open. Few minutes later customers began entering the restaurant and we have already placed our order. Mom Violy ordered her crispy pata and pinakbet. Carmina ordered garlic butter shrimp since I don't eat crispy pata. Family member ordered calamari and shrimp fried rice. Bacon Carbonara Recipe



Bacon Carbonara Recipe:
Ingredients:
  • 2 Pieces of Knorr Pork Cubes
  • 2 Large can of Alaska Evaporated Milk or Fresh Milk
  • 1 Cup Grated Cheese
  • 2 boxes or small can of Nestle Cream
  • 2 - Knorr Pork Cubes
  • Bacon (cooked and cut in small pieces)
  • Fettuccine Noodles
Step 1:
  • Fry the bacon until it is crispy, drain the oil with paper towel and chop into small pieces.
Step 2:
  • Boil the fettuccine noodles with small amount of salt or cooking oil
  • Strain fettuccine noodles
  • Set a side 
Step 3:
  • Place the remaining ingredients in a pot and let it simmer until the cheese has melted.
  • Add fettuccine noodles and bacon into the pot.
  • Mix together
Optional:

You can use grilled chicken, shrimp or any meat of your choice in case you don't like bacon.
