Mom Violy Craving for Filipino Dishes from Seafood Island Restaurant

Mom Violy wanted to eat crispy pata and pinakbet from Seafood Island Restaurant located in Cubao, Quezon City near the old Shopwise. We had arrived early being the first customers waiting for the restaurant to open. Few minutes later customers began entering the restaurant and we have already placed our order. Mom Violy ordered her crispy pata and pinakbet. Carmina ordered garlic butter shrimp since I don't eat crispy pata. Family member ordered calamari and shrimp fried rice. Everyone had a taste of our meals with leftovers to bring home. Watch my video  Running Errands in the Philippines . NOT SPONSORED. Baptism in the Philippines

It has been a long time since I have attended a baptism and become a God Parent at the same time.

What is the preparation before you have your baby's baptism?
  1. Birth Certificate of your daughter/son
  2. Reserve a date of the baptism
  3. Each Godparent there is a fee to pay at the church depends on the parish.
  4. Reserve the venue of the reception
  5. Know who your godparents will be and make sure you know they will be there to give the best guideness to your child as he/she grows up.
In the Philippines people go all out when they plan a baptism they have a banner made up which I was able to design one for her.

They also give our Baptism Party favors as their remembrance on that occasions.

The baptism only took thirty minutes with short prayer, blessing the baby in holy water and lighting the candle.

The process compared to the States is really different compare to the Philippines.

The people don't really dress up for baptism in the Philippines.
