Puto bumbong lovers, your favorite holiday treat just got a Wendy’s glow-up—ready for a twist on tradition?

It’s payday, the perfect time to treat ourselves, especially with the ever-changing weather in the Philippines. For fans of traditional Pinoy desserts , there’s now a new twist to enjoy your puto bumbong . Carmina ordered’  Wendy's Philippines ’ latest offering—the Putobumbong Frosty —available in two sizes: 6oz for 87.85 pesos ($1.49) or a tub for 125.35 pesos ($2.12).  She opted for the tub, skipping the smaller size entirely. The classic puto bumbong, made from purple sticky rice with grated cheese and latik sauce , gets an upgrade in Wendy’s version, which adds leche flan , rice crispies, and creamy vanilla frosty. A sweet treat perfect for those with a sweet tooth. Carmina preferred it served separately, as the puto bumbong is hard and chewy to eat. I guess I’m just used to having it without ice cream. That’s just my preference—others might enjoy it as it is. NOT SPONSORED. Check out my channel where you can find my videos at  Carmina Lifestyle YouTube Channel ...

Create Your Own Personal Pizza Recipe

I am a cook, baker and everything else that kids in your family want you to become when their friend's comes over to hang out at your home.

Create Your Own Personal Pizza Recipe
Ingredients:

  • Del Monte Original Tomato Sauce or any brand
  • Shredded Mozzarella cheese (any cheese)
  • Frozen Pizza Crust or bread

Topping:

Choose what topping you would like to add to your homemade pizza:

1.    Any type of meat

2.    Any type of vegetable

There are two brands of frozen pizza crust in the Philippines:

I prefer using the mini pizza crust it is easier to use and your family can eat their own individual pizza in case you have family members who prefer different toppings on their pizza.

You can also use bread that is about to expire or bread you feel you can no longer want to make a sandwich out of it.

I don't have an oven in our home. I will be using an air fryer that we have in our kitchen. I know it may sound strange a person not having an oven in your home this is me.

Preparing you homemade pizza:

Follow the Step 1 and 4 with pictures to show you how to do each one.

  • Place your pizza crust on a plate spread small amount of tomato sauce, sprinkle the cheese, add your topping of your choice.
Step 1:
  • Slice any type of bread or layer the pizza crust on a flat tray

Step 2:
  • Spread the tomato sauce on the bread or pizza crust

Step 3:
  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese or any type of cheese

Step 4:
  • Add the toppings of your choice

Storing Pizza in Your Freezer:
  • I am a person who likes to make food ahead of time this way I find it easier to prepare and make the homemade pizza ahead of time and place it in the freezer in a Tupperware layered with wax paper in each layers.
  • This way the pizza crust doesn't stick to each other while it is in the freezer.
  • When you have unexpected guest there is always room to make some for them and no need to worry what to feed them.

This is an easy way to make a pizza and you can also make your children be involved and let them make their own pizza with parental supervision.

Baking:

Follow the instructions on your pizza crust or just by ear I just go based on when the cheese is melted on the pizza some people like it crispy others prefer it in another way.

For the bread toast for ten minutes or wait until cheese has been melted all depends on if you what texture you want your bread to be.
