Mom Violy wanted to eat crispy pata and pinakbet from Seafood Island Restaurant located in Cubao, Quezon City near the old Shopwise. We had arrived early being the first customers waiting for the restaurant to open. Few minutes later customers began entering the restaurant and we have already placed our order. Mom Violy ordered her crispy pata and pinakbet. Carmina ordered garlic butter shrimp since I don't eat crispy pata. Family member ordered calamari and shrimp fried rice. After you just had a big celebration and you have left over lechon most Filipino used the leftover by making Paksiw na Lechon Kawali.
Paksiw na Lechon Kawali Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 2 Cans Liverwurst
- 2 Tbsp Salt
- 1 Cup White Vinegar
- 2 Tbsp Whole Black Pepper
- 1 Cup Bread Crumbs
- 2 Cloves Garlic
- 1 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1/4 Cup White Sugar
Cooking Instructions:
Step 1:
- In a pot add cooking oil add all the ingredients together.
- Mix well
- Cook
