The most I get from my phone is an application that allows me to
make a video and compile all together. I have a habit taking videos
when I travel, birthday occasion or any daily basis in life that I feel I can
add along to my memories.
Honestly, I have been making slide shows since I was living back home in California. I would give out DVD slide shows to my family for their birthday. I would burn it in to a CD -R and give it out. Now, we don't need to put into a CD-R we can just send it through Facebook Messenger or post it online for other people to review your art work.
This is the benefit you get to challenge yourself and explore in so many ways. There are so many competitions on different type of software or application. There are some that are free that comes on your phone. Or there are service fee to purchase it. I find it easier to edit a video on my phone than to do it on my computer.
I notice you get charge when you use your computer based on your phone it is free. It seems everything is inside your phone and it is easier to edit all the video and pictures at the same time than transferring all your files on your computer. I've always had a Samsung phone and I always used Power Director Application.
I find it easier for me to use by adding the music you want. The disadvantage of having music it becomes copywriter and your video that has music becomes mute when you upload it from Facebook or Youtube.
You will notice if you have already watched some of my videos I would add a voice clip to my videos this way no one would get bored watching your movie clip.
At first if you are a beginner it may become confusing how to begin and how to compile everything all together.
This is my tip to give you once you feel like to start something new on your own. First of all you will need to edit all you video clips by doing that on your video click edit which looks like a pencil.
You will just drag from left or to right depending which part you would like to remove out from your video. It is best to play it back before you save the video clip.
Do the same proceed in all your video clips. Delete the ones you no longer want.
On your photo it is best to edit by cropping out or reverse your pictures if you have taken a selfie and the print of your background or shirt in reverse you can edit it by flipping your photo.
Always click save.

How to Make a Slide show from Power Director:
Step 1:
- Click Power Director Application on your phone
- Click New Project
- New Project type the Project Name
- Select the video aspect ratio:
- I always use 16:9
- Select your video, picture and music
- Pick which file to be add on to your slide show
- Picked out your pictures, video and music it will look like this:
On the script on the white box you can change the motion
- Just tap the white boxes and choose which motion for each picture
- You can also add a title by typing it out
- There are so many ways to make a slide show and it becomes easier once you have a lot of practice using the application.
- Always play the video and see if the timing is right on how you want your slide show by pressing the play button located at the right hand side.
Step 3:
Produce your slide show
- Click Produce Video
- Type your title of the video example: Sand Beach
- Click Produce
- It will show how many % is being produce shown in this picture
- Click OK
- It will bring back to this picture shown
Step 4:
To find your slide show
- Go to gallery on your phone
- Look for Power Director
