Mom Violy Craving for Filipino Dishes from Seafood Island Restaurant

Mom Violy wanted to eat crispy pata and pinakbet from Seafood Island Restaurant located in Cubao, Quezon City near the old Shopwise. We had arrived early being the first customers waiting for the restaurant to open. Few minutes later customers began entering the restaurant and we have already placed our order. Mom Violy ordered her crispy pata and pinakbet. Carmina ordered garlic butter shrimp since I don't eat crispy pata. Family member ordered calamari and shrimp fried rice. Everyone had a taste of our meals with leftovers to bring home. Watch my video  Running Errands in the Philippines . NOT SPONSORED. Medical Check Up In the Philippines

Feeling over whelmed from medical expenses and planning to visit the Philippines because your Medicare doesn’t cover some general check up from your new employer.

No matter what the reason there are a lot of people having their general check up from different hospital and it is great when you have family or relatives who have connections inside and they know which doctor they can recommend to treat you in what you need to be check up on.

I live with people who are doctors of some sort and I also have relatives who are also having access because they work in different hospitals. We need something and we feel there is something wrong with us they can refer us to someone to see in what type of illness we have.

Everyone goes to the basic with the general check up and having their labortory work done to see what kind of health they are in.

Some people just want to make sure before they travel away from home that their illness is alright because to prevent something happen to at a foreigner country they might not be able speak the same language and not sure if we are qualified to have a check up in another country.

Here in the Philippines if you are a senior citizen they provide a discount and this is why I had explained if you travel to the Philippines so often it is best to have a relatives apply a Senior Card for you. It is best to apply for a Phil Health if you plan to live in the Philippines. This way you would be covered with the expenses in the medical bills.

I also suggest for students to apply for Phil Health never know when you will need it in the future.

You can check in my blog with the requirements to apply for Phil Health for your reference.

In case you are health conscious we normally get our regular laboortory work done every three to six months if someone has complications on their medical.

It is advice to visit your general doctor to get a prescription under your name before you undergo laboratory. It is required to have a prescription under your name to undergo laboratory examination. Or no one will be able to help you and you will be wasting your time.

This happened to me one time when I wanted to have an x-ray when I fell off a chair and landed on the floor on my butt. I had walked in the hospital requesting to be able to get my x-ray done.

During my time there was a doctor available and I would need to be on the waiting list and when you are undergoing pain and have a hard time seating down. It was useless I ended up going home.

I ended up putting an ice pack during my time lying on my side of my bed.

Mine was minor pain, but imagine if someone we’re more in pain than me.

My sister in-law came by over the house and she told me to observe it for a few days and if the pain didn’t go away to see a doctor. She had given me a prescription under my name in case I would need it.
