Carmina is traveling to the United States to spend time with her family. My dad planned a family gathering for Mother's Day at their favorite Pinoy restaurant . Since reservations aren’t possible, we arrived an hour early to ensure we could get a table for twelve before everyone else showed up. As my dad approached Isla Grand , the branch we visited in Pleasant Hills, California , the host at the door said they could prepare a table for twelve at five o'clock. Later, the server called my dad's name and guided us to our table. The place was bustling with people enjoying meals and celebrating Mother's Day. On our first visit to Isla Grand, I was captivated by the décor, noticing many native items that gave the place a fancy yet authentic Filipino feel. They usually have a live band, but unfortunately, there was no entertainment the night we went. Good morning Sydney, Australia this is how our view looked in the morning as we woke up.
My mom and I had free breakfast every morning they had served it at Cafe Opera starting 6:30 AM until 10:30 AM. The food was the same every day, but if you are allergic to certain food you may request ahead of time to cook you something different. For example my mom cannot eat anything made of chicken and egg. They provided her pork or beef sausage instead of eating the chicken sausage served for the buffet.

Once you enter they will ask you what is your room number and name it is under than they will have you seated to your table.
They will ask you what you would like to drink from choice of coffee or tea.

You can also create your own salad and yogurt is provided with different choice of cereal and milk.
There is always something to eat every day.
There is congee, miso soup and fried rice to add on to your meal.
