Mom Violy wanted to eat crispy pata and pinakbet from Seafood Island Restaurant located in Cubao, Quezon City near the old Shopwise. We had arrived early being the first customers waiting for the restaurant to open. Few minutes later customers began entering the restaurant and we have already placed our order. Mom Violy ordered her crispy pata and pinakbet. Carmina ordered garlic butter shrimp since I don't eat crispy pata. Family member ordered calamari and shrimp fried rice. Who doesn't love eating at Chili's Restaurant from California and the Philippines we still get to eat at our favorite place.
Funny Story:
My mom told me last night she was craving for kissadilla at first I couldn't understand what she was telling us. Than I remember there are some words she cannot pronouce propertly. She said, it is Mexican food that is in a tortilla with cheese and sometimes there is meat inside.
I told my mom the word is quesdilla not kissadilla. It sounds like she wants to kiss someone. 😘

I was craving for chicken enchillada to get something close to it I got the soup version. It was actually good got me full after eating one cup portion.
I had also ordered my dinner, but my mom ate mostly and brought it home. It is shrimp fajitas.
