Becky was the first one to introduce me to Amber where she brought pork barbeque and pancit . It has been a long time eating there. Carmina was craving for pork barbeque. I had suggested to Becky to dine in person at Ambers after picking her up at her home. Upon entering there weren't that many people more on take outs we had looked over the menu since the print was too small to read decided to take a picture and zoom it on my phone. Becky and Carmina decided to share five pieces of pork barbecue. Becky ordered carbonara , and I chose one to serve of rice. You can choose where to sit when dining inside Amber. There is a restroom available, but it does not provide toilet paper, and it is a unisex facility. If you have leftovers can ask for assistant to have it wrapped up for you. The next morning we have a tour from Singapore ferry going to Batam, Indonesia which is a 45 minute ride.
You can purchase your ferry ticket either through your travel agent, online or buy through walk in. For example we had purchase through Sindo Ferry.
There are a lot of ferry agents in the building to choose from. The price for the ferry ride is $50.00 Singapore money for round trip fare.
When riding a ferry, you will need to bring along your passport since you will be entering another country. It is best to arrive on time due to the process of entering Immigration. At the ferry when they say go to Immigration, they really mean Departure. It can get confusing to find it since there are no sign that says Immigration.
It is best to book a tour ahead of time with your travel agent. There are different types of tour available.

There are some people who have booked a hotel from Batam. They say, it is best to stay there for 2 nights to be able to complete the whole area of Batam. If, you are into nature and animals this place is for you.
If, you are just here for shopping not much to see. It is better to stay in the area of Singapore there are more places to visit.
