Carmina says Bebang’s halo-halo is summer in a spoon — but is it the real deal or just pretty colors in a cup?

Since last year, Mom Violy and Carmina had been wanting to try the much-talked-about  Bebang's Halo-Halo , but even when we passed by, the timing was never right. Mom Violy kept saying she’d wait until a branch opened closer to us. Then Becky told Carmina there was one along her commute route to work. The best part was that the Tomas Morato branch in Quezon City had just opened. When we arrived at CTTM Square , we found plenty of restaurants on the second floor. While checking the menu, we let the customers behind us order first. Mom Violy asked them for recommendations, and they suggested the Presidential for first timers. Unlike other places, Bebang’s Halo-Halo doesn’t have size options—everything comes in a standard size, making ordering easier. Seniors and PWDs get a discount per order, and you’re given something that lights up when your halo-halo is ready for pickup. Service was quick, so the wait wasn’t long at all. Each order comes in its own green plastic bag with a table...

Do you believe in kulam (witchcraft)?

Living in the Philippines there are some people believe in kulam which is a Filipino way putting people who they hate to take in revenge of a person or make them fall in love with them. In other worlds it is witchcraft that some people pay for someone to do it for them.

I don't believe in kulam because when you harm a person you will pay for the karma you get to destroy a person in a harmful way.

Is it even worth to put someone under a spell under witchcraft?

I have a friend who wanted to do kulam to someone because she felt her partner in crime hurt her so much and when she had found out the price she had to pay she didn't realize the price was so expensive.

The fee to have someone to be kulam is PHP 3,000.00 ($60.00).

In order for the person to do kulam you need the full name of the person and a recent picture of them have it printed it out to be given to the person who will put a spell on them in order to begin the process.

I asked the person who will do it why so expensive she claimed the black candle is expensive. I was wondering how a black candle cost so much all along I thought people who does witchcraft make that person into a doll and they put pins on them like what we see in a horror movie.

I was telling my friend who wanted do the kulam and she say, no too expensive.

I teased my friend if you pay PHP 3,000.00 do you know how many bad luck you will get in your life. I said, you will have three thousand worth of karma in your life because what you are doing to someone is really bad. You become an evil person when you do this.

I told my friend if you do this I will no longer be your friend because how will I know you might invest and do it to me too.

I had told my friend praying for someone is free from God and he can also guide you in the process in a better way than striving for revenge on someone and get something bad out of it.
