Family was informed by their friends to try Blackbird at the Nielson Tower and asked Mom Violy if she has ever been there before. Mom Violy had no clue what it was asked Carmina to look it up and see what kind of food they serve. Carmina gave the phone number to Mom Violy make a reservation for a family lunch. On the day of the reservation, we arrived early and were allowed to enter before the official opening time of eleven o’clock in the morning. We decided to stay in the lobby, where we were asked if we wanted anything to drink. Carmina took videos inside and learned about the history by talking to the staff. One hour later, people started coming into the restaurant and took their seats at the reservation table, browsing the menu to decide what to order. Every time I travel my friends always tease me because my agenda is so filled up with the dates on my calendar they say, how you can manage to squeeze everyone when you only have one month to visit.
I always say that is easy you schedule some at lunch and dinner this way you can see everyone all in one time just that you are juggle yourself in between the day.
My calendar is filled up from Monday to Sunday no time to waste time because when you visit your only have one month to spend quality time with everyone you know.
The problem I have when someone is unable to make it for prior notice it is difficult to switch them with someone else because everyone is busy with work or family obligation.
Sometimes I have to combine some of my friends at the same time as long as they know each other it is easy this way and you are not wasting time.
I always plan ahead once I have already booked my airfare and know the actual date I will be arriving and returning back home.
