When Mom Violy spotted Crisostomo’s handwritten menu, something in her chest lit up: home-style lumpia, sinigang steaming in clay pots—could this be the comfort food she’d been missing?

Carmina informed Mom Violy that she would visit her home on Saturday, November 8, 2025. She asked if Mom Violy wanted to go out for lunch and mentioned needing to do some grocery shopping due to an upcoming big storm. Mom Violy suggested trying Crisostomo, a Filipino restaurant inside Robinsons Magnolia. Carmina forwarded the menu for her to choose what she wanted to eat, while Carmina already knew her order. I chose pork barbeque served in a set of three pieces with a vinegar dipping sauce. I skipped rice and opted for lumpiang hubad, fresh lumpia without a wrapper, topped with peanut sauce.  Mom Violy initially craved the classic Pinoy paella, but when it wasn’t available, she decided on sinigang na baboy with an extra serving of rice. Kombucha vs Bundaberg Ginger Beer

Traveling in Sydney, Australia has drawn me drinking Bundaberg Ginger Beer and I fell in love with this drink because it has my favorite root which is ginger. I am not sure if anyone is familiar with this product.

Bundaberg Ginger Beer is actually a soda based not an alcohol beer which many people might have mistaken by its name. The product has been fermented for three days process.

I did some digging to find more about this product since I was so drawn into it and love the taste.

I found out they also make other products with the same content with ginger root just that there are other flavors to choose from. I decided to buy some of their other products luckily I was able to find a seller here in the Philippines that sells and ships their product here in the Philippines where I live.

I was able to buy Bundaberg Sarsaparilla (rootbeer) which is also my favorite soda beverage with based on my experience trying other brand that makes rootbeer I found this brand to be less sweet than your ordinary rootbeer brands.

It seems to be a healthy soda that no one can compare.

The difference I have found from drinking Kombucha and Bundaberg Products in order for you to determine if you do plan to try it for yourself.

Kombucha is made with purified water.

Bundaberg is made with carbonated water.

Kombucha is made with black tea, green tea or mushroom tea.

Bundaberg is made with ginger root for ginger beer and rootbeer.

Kombucha has fresh fruits.

Kombucha and Bundaberg with cane sugar.

Kombucha has scoby the fermentation form of natural alcohol.

Kombucha and Bundaberg have natural flavor and yeast.

Kombucha has antioxidant.

Bundaberg has antioxidant (ascorbic acid).

Whichever drink you decide upon I prefer both to switch over time to time until I get tired drinking either one of them.
