Puto bumbong lovers, your favorite holiday treat just got a Wendy’s glow-up—ready for a twist on tradition?

It’s payday, the perfect time to treat ourselves, especially with the ever-changing weather in the Philippines. For fans of traditional Pinoy desserts , there’s now a new twist to enjoy your puto bumbong . Carmina ordered’  Wendy's Philippines ’ latest offering—the Putobumbong Frosty —available in two sizes: 6oz for 87.85 pesos ($1.49) or a tub for 125.35 pesos ($2.12).  She opted for the tub, skipping the smaller size entirely. The classic puto bumbong, made from purple sticky rice with grated cheese and latik sauce , gets an upgrade in Wendy’s version, which adds leche flan , rice crispies, and creamy vanilla frosty. A sweet treat perfect for those with a sweet tooth. Carmina preferred it served separately, as the puto bumbong is hard and chewy to eat. I guess I’m just used to having it without ice cream. That’s just my preference—others might enjoy it as it is. NOT SPONSORED. Check out my channel where you can find my videos at  Carmina Lifestyle YouTube Channel ...

Tips in Food Allergy When On the Plane

I just remember something that had happened when we flew back to Manila from Australia apparently we had flew Philippine Airlines and our flight was fully booked when we came home. When they we’re at the process and announced they will be serving our meal and was handed the menu before our meal had arrived.

By, the time our food came to us and we are seated in number 45 and they ran out of food and we had to choose Chicken Adobo which my mom cannot eat chicken due to her allergies and my mom than complained not having enough food for those who we’re last to eat.

My mom had informed them what happens to someone like me who cannot eat certain food what food can you improvise for me to eat than the chicken adobo.

Mistake #1:

We’re informed by the head you need to inform your travel agent once you have booked your flight that you are allergic to certain food and should notify the airlines.

Mistake #2:

When they had announced they will be serving the meals my mom should have informed them ahead of time to give her meal ahead of other passengers.

At this point the flight attendant on duty gave her meal to my mom and they swap their meals.

Based on my mom’s experience it is best to inform your travel agent so they can put a note and there will be away to inform them ahead of time.

Even if my mom claimed she always ridden with the airlines and it just happened the first time it was still her fault but at this point when you’re old you will not accept your own mistake.

I just felt sorry for the flight attendant that was very nice enough to give her meal over someone who demands for her food or else she would have made a big scene inside the plane.
