Carmina had picked up Mom Violy at her home before heading to Gateway 2 located in Cubao, Quezon City. Mamou is located ground floor inside Gateway 2. Upon entering the person asked if we had any reservations however, they do except walk as well was seated at the table of our choice. The person had handed us the menu. Beverages Menu Bread and butter were served after we had placed our order. Our appetizer was the Mamou's Bacon Steak. Mom Violy decided to order her lobster tail with rice. I remember when I was in college and going out with my
friends I always wore a navy blue trench coat because my mom was very strict with me. As I walked out the front door my mom always inspect the clothes I wore and she always told me to change my clothes if my skirt was too short or my blouse was too revealing.
What my mom didn't know I had extra set of outfits in my car because I knew my mom was very old fashioned and wanted me to be covered from head to toe.
I would changed my clothes at my friend's home and have the clothes I came out in my car when I need to change back into them when I had entered home this way I don't get caught from my mom.
You are young you need to find ways and means to look better when
you're out with your friends and you know we compete to see who dresses better
and how we look by appearance.
I remember at the Celebrities night club if my friend and I didn't
like a certain guy who asked us for our name we didn't use our real name we had
a name set out for that night. When the guy asked for our phone number we give
them a make up one. I know it sounds really bad but when you’re young and you
don't like the guy it is kind of hard to tell them at their face seem easier
this way.
It is a game probably anyone did during our time when there was no
phone at our time we only had a pager and use our landline number.
I remember I had my own landline phone number in my room because
my mom loved eavesdropping in my conversation to me I wasn't getting any
privacy so I asked my dad if I can have my own phone installed in my room this way I can also
be responsible paying my own phone bill expenses.
My mom was very strict I remember I would come home really late
because I would be the one driving my friends. I would pick them up and bring
them home most of my friends lived opposite direction.
I think I gave my mom a headache from coming home not Cinderella
time during those time phones we’re not invented it was a pager. My pager was
always beeping.
A girl like me will not stop by
at a phone booth to call and check your messages in your pager.
When you are young you are full
of life and no matter if you get scolded as your mom is standing at the door
waiting for you for hours and you come home having a lecture you kind of get
use to it just goes one ear to the other.
We live life the fullest when
you're young and of course when you do something really bad you get grounded
for it and that is normal for any teenager or anyone living with their parents.
Even though I am not that age I still have a
strict life because the people I live with are very old fashioned worse than my
parents but I was able to cope with it since I don't have set of friends in the Philippines there is no way to rebel as
we're teenagers that time.
I do have a chance to go out Yann knows how it is and I feel like a teenager all over again.
If, you ever see someone riding their mountain bike with guys surrounded near her that is me I feel like a princess with so many security guards.
