Chapter 18: Over Stepping Your Boundaries

As our parents start to age and when you live in another country there is such thing as caring for your parents how the Filipinos are custom to do when are parents to reach an aged that they are not capable staying home without any guidance. You realize and you begin to cry as Michelle saw in Jack's parents no one cared to take care of them when she left her son and moved to another house.

Michelle had just realized when she didn't want to return back to Jack's neighborhood, she never thought about what his parents we're going through when she wasn't around.

Michelle just realized how much Jack's parents we're neglected in the way no one took care of them the sense in cleaning their home. 

Michelle had cleaned each day seeing the house they lived look like a house that was so unkempt with cobwebs in the ceiling.

Michelle had a dream that in her dream she had parents living with her and she realize when you have parents who reach a certain age as they get older you cannot replace a parent, but you can find a new loved one.

Michelle decided to stay in Jack's parents' home longer by leaving and return after three days as she explains to Michael her situation at Jack's parents' home.

Michelle realized if Michael will not understand her situation, she realized Michael doesn't love her enough to take care of Jack's parents who are the legal one who sent the invitation to visit Germany so really, they are held responsible for Michelle during her stay.

Michelle realized more than that if she decides to leave Jack's parents in no doubt if something we're to happen to them she would feel guilty she wasn't there when an accident might happen.

Sometimes in life you need to make sacrifices and choose the right pathway either you have a love one at your side or you settle to take care of someone else's parents.

In every relationship you make sacrifices, and you also need to compromise to each other to solve each solution you cannot take control all the responsibilities other people in the family also need to show support in order to make a family complete.

You cannot judge a person the way they are because when you are so used to not helping no one will know what mistakes they have made when someone is always there to clean up the mess.

Michelle needs to inform and consult Jack not by nagging but to let him know he need to hold responsible for his parents wellbeing and she cannot complain all the negative things she see in him because it will not solve anything but make the situation worse.

You have decided to take control and do it by volunteer there is no one to blame only yourself because you did not include anyone else to help you out.

Highlight:

There are some people who would rather do all the responsibility taking care of someone else's parents.

There are people who complain once they have finished what they had accomplished not realizing they are the ones who didn't inform anyone about what they felt during that time.

Sometimes people who are not really blood related over bound themselves when they see an elderly having a difficult time.

Sometimes people who cross the boundaries over see things and make the real family member a bad person.

In every family there are flaws there is no perfect family but in order to solve the solution is always communication because the more you pinpoint something else than what you see the matter becomes worse.

Everyone will bound to get too emotional and nothing else will be solved.
