Puto bumbong lovers, your favorite holiday treat just got a Wendy’s glow-up—ready for a twist on tradition?

It’s payday, the perfect time to treat ourselves, especially with the ever-changing weather in the Philippines. For fans of traditional Pinoy desserts , there’s now a new twist to enjoy your puto bumbong . Carmina ordered’  Wendy's Philippines ’ latest offering—the Putobumbong Frosty —available in two sizes: 6oz for 87.85 pesos ($1.49) or a tub for 125.35 pesos ($2.12).  She opted for the tub, skipping the smaller size entirely. The classic puto bumbong, made from purple sticky rice with grated cheese and latik sauce , gets an upgrade in Wendy’s version, which adds leche flan , rice crispies, and creamy vanilla frosty. A sweet treat perfect for those with a sweet tooth. Carmina preferred it served separately, as the puto bumbong is hard and chewy to eat. I guess I’m just used to having it without ice cream. That’s just my preference—others might enjoy it as it is. NOT SPONSORED. Check out my channel where you can find my videos at  Carmina Lifestyle YouTube Channel ...

MTB from California vs Philippines

We have talked about places to travel but there are other things than traveling alone that doesn’t require a plane ticket and something everyone already have in their home which is a bike.

Last year I had decided to learn how to ride a bike due to my friends back home in California always talking about riding a bike as their hobby or sport.

The first step is choosing the right bike for you there is different choices to choose from:
  1. Trail Bikes
  2. Cross Country Bikes
  3. Mountain Bike
  4. Fat Bike
  5. Downhill Bike
First you decided what type of mountain bike you want to buy and what type of purpose or area you plan to ride because all bike have different type of purpose.

At first I thought a bike is just a bike you just ride but when I found out later there are different types of bikes because it all depends on your use for it.

Did you know there are certain bikes you use for sand and snow which is the fat bike that have the big wheels?

I use to laugh at the fat bikes because I didn't know its purpose why the wheels we're big to me it look something strange.

When you are clueless what the bike has it purpose with its upgrade and being mortified here in the Philippines you think it is just like when I was in college when we use to fix up our first car by adding spoilers, rims just to show off and brag to let people see how different our vehicle looked like during those times.

I remember people put lights underneath the car as well lowering their cars because thet felt they we're so cool that time.

Now, a bike seems to always to be the trend to any country of the world. You are clueless on the factors or a bike you will not be able to appreciate its value and what people do to achieve the work they put in as they work hard to cycle everyday or to complete in racing that comes once a year.

Just like any sport people work hard to achieve a certain goal to be proud of them.

There is one thing I had learned when I was riding my first mountain bike it is quite complicated learning the gears and how to adjust your timing when you are going up, down the hill or going straight to your speed.

Even if you ask your friends about it they have a difficult explaining it to you so they only way I was able to figure it out was watching video in youtube and playing by ear how to do it.

This is what I learned when the bike is hard to pedal you need to adjust your gear on the handle bar to make it loose enough to pedal going up the hill.

As you are going down the hill you will adjust your gear again to make it tighter by clicking the handle bar.

I have learned is the more practice while riding your bike the more you will get the hand or the feel of how you want it to feel to make easier on your own pace.

The last time I rode a bike was in my teens when the bikes only had a break on the handle bars nothing fancy how they make it now.

This is my evaluation when you live in California or any country you buy a bike how it is by not changing or adding anything to it.

I have asked my friends who are cyclist how is it when they buy a bike do they add anything to change the way it looks or put any upgrades. The reason I had asked, my friends from California because in the Philippines it is so different they change their bikes by making it more expensive and they keep adding on to enhance how it looks as well adding what they say the way the bike will perform.

I am not sure if I am making any sense but what I have notice people like to change how their bike looks like by changing the following:
  • Fork Accessories
  • Bike Frame
  • Bar Ends
  • BMX
  • Bottom Brackets
  • Brake Levers
  • Brake Disc
  • Cables
  • Cassettes
  • Chainrings
  • Chain
  • Cleats
  • Derailleurs
  • Grips
  • Handlebar
  • Hub
  • Pedal
  • Rear Shock
  • Rims
  • Saddle
  • Seatposts
  • Shifters
  • Tire / Wheel
  • Tube Accessories
I realize cycling is an big investment just like any other transportation we used and people like to save money to always upgrade their bikes just to make it look cool or just to feel comfortable in it.

In my next page I will discuss where to buy a bike in any country....
