When the longing for authentic Pinoy dishes strikes in the U.S., Isla Grand stands ready to transport your taste buds back to the Philippines.

Carmina is traveling to the United States to spend time with her family. My dad planned a family gathering for Mother's Day at their favorite Pinoy restaurant . Since reservations aren’t possible, we arrived an hour early to ensure we could get a table for twelve before everyone else showed up. As my dad approached Isla Grand , the branch we visited in Pleasant Hills, California , the host at the door said they could prepare a table for twelve at five o'clock. A Salad without Any Lettuce Recipe

Your cook tells you that someone was able to buy you lettuce when you feel like eating something healthy because the food that is being served is something you don't eat. When you asked Manang V to cook you two hardboiled eggs, and you have some ingredients to add to your salad you come down to find out there was never any lettuce to begin with what do you end up doing with your ingredients.

I ended up making a meal out of no lettuce because either way I wanted to eat something healthy, or this is what my ingredients we're the following:

  • 2 - Hardboiled egg (sliced in circles)
  • 1 - Ripe avocado (sliced into cubes)
  • 2 - Pieces Artichoke Hearts (marinated from the bottle)
  • 3 - Stripes of Cooked bacon (chopped)

I just added anything I had around in my home and just combined everything together you can add salad dressing of your choice or eat it how it is.
