Tired of the new rules, Carmina closed her Google Maps account — what pushed her over the edge?

It’s been months since Carmina last posted on her Google Maps. I started doing it just for fun, exploring new places to dine and travel, and sharing those spots with others. Back in 2017, I wasn’t even blogging yet. Over the years, I received numerous email updates about changes, but in September, the removal of followers on Google Maps felt particularly strange. There’s no point in complaining about it. I decided not to close my account, as it wasn’t an option, but I did delete all the photos I had contributed over the years. I have fond memories of seeing which photos were popular and had hoped to share them with you. It was surprising to see how many views my pictures had accumulated. While deleting them, I noticed that many restaurants and bakeries no longer exist, with some marked as unknown on the map. Homemade French Fries Recipe


We love eating French fries and when you have potatoes in your home, and you are craving for something to snack on I would make time to make my own that will almost taste like in any other fast food restaurant the only difference it is the healthy way.
You have two choices to peel the potato or to keep the skin it all depends on your preference.

Homemade French Fries
Ingredients:
  • 1 Kilo - Potato
  • Salt
  • Cooking Oil
Preparing:
Clean the potato. 
Cut each potato long way in half, cut 1/2-inch slices to make it look like matchsticks.

Method before Frying the Potato:
  • Soak in a bowl prevention that the potato doesn't stick to each other when you fry it.
  • The starch on the potato will be removed rinse it well in cold water and strain.
  • Dry potato on a rack
For Crispy French Fries:
  • Soak in hot water. 
Frying:
  • Heat up the oil in a pot.
  • Cook the fries.
  • Strain it and season with salt.
