On the day of the reservation, we arrived early and were allowed to enter before the official opening time of eleven o’clock in the morning. We love eating French fries and when you have potatoes in your home, and you are craving for something to snack on I would make time to make my own that will almost taste like in any other fast food restaurant the only difference it is the healthy way.
You have two choices to peel the potato or to keep the skin it all depends on your preference.
Homemade French Fries
Ingredients:
- 1 Kilo - Potato
- Salt
- Cooking Oil
Preparing:
Clean the potato.
Cut each potato long way in half, cut 1/2-inch slices to make it look like matchsticks.
Method before Frying the Potato:
- Soak in a bowl prevention that the potato doesn't stick to each other when you fry it.
- The starch on the potato will be removed rinse it well in cold water and strain.
- Dry potato on a rack
For Crispy French Fries:
- Soak in hot water.
Frying:
- Heat up the oil in a pot.
- Cook the fries.
- Strain it and season with salt.
