Carmina asked Mom Violy what kind of food she would like to eat for her upcoming birthday. Mom Violy said she was craving for a restaurant that serves steak and lobster. Carmina gave Mom Violy a list of restaurants for her to decide with a link of the websites for her to see which one look something she would like to try. One week before Mom Violy's birthday she made her final choice where she would like to try Mamou . Carmina had picked up Mom Violy at her home before heading to Gateway 2 located in Cubao, Quezon City. Mamou is located ground floor inside Gateway 2. Upon entering the person asked if we had any reservations however, they do except walk as well was seated at the table of our choice. The person had handed us the menu. Beverages Menu Bread and butter were served after we had placed our order. Our appetizer was the Mamou's Bacon Steak. Mom Violy decided to order her lobster tail with rice. Longanisa is a popular breakfast cooked in the Philippines it is known as sausages. We normally eat this with garlic rice, sunny side up egg and sliced tomato or some eat it inside bread as a sandwich.
I have a lot of friends who call me up asking how to cook longanisa and I will teach you the best to way to cook it.
Cooking Instructions
First Step:
- In a frying pan add a little amount of water let it boil added longanisa cook each sides cook for short time.
Second Step:
- Strain the water and remove the longaisa from the pan.
- Separate each longainsa by using scissors.
Third Step:
- In a frying pan add cooking oil once it is hot add the longainsa and cook it until it turns brown.
Fourth Step:
- You will begin to poke a hole by using a fork, lower the temperature and watch out the oil from the inside doesn't hit you try holding a lid to prevent splashing at you.
- Cook it until it begins to be fully cooked from each side.
- Ready to eat enjoy your longanisa.
