Carmina was putting away her groceries placing in the freezer began to read the package of Maestro Chicken Onion Rings later realized made a big mistake. Did you know you need to peel your asparagus?

Did you know you need to peel your asparagus? I was surprised that my friend was peeling her asparagus before she had cooked it into bowling water. We normally just wash and boil it how it comes from the grocery store.

I had asked my other friend about it and she was also surprised because she does the same thing in what we do as I was asking my friend who was peeling the white asparagus why you need to peel it she said this is what she was taught to do since her boyfriend is a chef.

I had looked into it more and was told when your asparagus is thick you need to peel the tough skin of the asparagus.

Although peeling the thin asparagus is not required to peel the skin it is not bad for you if you plan to eat it so far nothing has happened to me and we eat the skin often the asparagus are very thin the size of your pinky on your hand.

Imagine if I peeled that I have less to eat from it and asparagus are expensive in the Philippines.
