Dive into a culinary journey at Ocho Seafood & Grill, where traditional Filipino seafood dishes transform family dinners into unforgettable feasts.

It’s not often we get to spend time with relatives visiting from the Philippines for a family member’s wedding. Carmina's father was getting married in Tacloban , and everyone flew miles to attend the big day. On the first day of our arrival, before the event began, my cousin Mariles suggested we have dinner together. Mariles asked if we enjoy eating seafood, and I told her we do. Carmina messaged all the family members Mariles wanted to invite and asked if they were free for dinner. Mariles had informed everyone we'll be having dinner at  Ocho Seafood & Grill  located in Tacloban. My dad arranged for a driver so we could all ride together in a van. Upon entering, Mariles informed all the family members that she had already preordered our meals. The only thing we had to order was our beverages. Do you miss the food your parents cook for you when you we're young?

Every now and then we miss what our parents are cooking for us when we’re young as growing up and when we have parents who are no longer living next to us we tend to look for the taste.

Sometimes we can find the same taste from a different person how they cook their food or we have family members who we’re taught by our parents the way the use to cook for us when we’re young.

As we get older we learn new things and we adapt our learning skills to teach those next to us to bring it to the next generation when we’re not with them as we get older.

If you have parents still alive and living with you it is best to get their recipes from them and learn from based their own experiences so you too can learn and cook the way your parents use to cook.

So often when we are younger and still growing up we don't want to learn how to cook or we find cooking is not our thing but when your parents are no longer living next to you later you will regret that you should of have learned the way your parents use to cook.

Cooking comes from being patience as well being inspired with passion to learn techniques from the expert without their knowledge you will not learn anything from them.

This is why every day I would ask Manang V, my mom and anyone who knows how to cook for their recipes everyone has their own specialty in cooking in what they cook best.

Everyone has their own experience in cooking and they can recommend or share their own secret ingredients as we learn their passion in cooking we get to learn based on how they learned to cook as well we get recognized by other people to appreciate the food you love to cook for not for yourself as well for others.

People say in order for your food to taste the way it is by being passionate to make your food taste the way it is suppose to be because no passion your food will become tasteless no matter if it looks good by appearances by taste it is lacking an ingredient.
