Mom Violy Craving for Filipino Dishes from Seafood Island Restaurant

  Mom Violy wanted to eat crispy pata and pinakbet from Seafood Island Restaurant located in Cubao, Quezon City near the old Shopwise. We had arrived early being the first customers waiting for the restaurant to open. Few minutes later customers began entering the restaurant and we have already placed our order. Mom Violy ordered her crispy pata and pinakbet. Carmina ordered garlic butter shrimp since I don't eat crispy pata. Family member ordered calamari and shrimp fried rice. Dragon Fruit the Healthy Living



Dragon fruit comes in a purple or white color but the purple one is the healthy one to eat it is sweet when it is in season. It is rather an expensive fruit to eat.

 Dragon Fruit grows in a cactus plant and it doesn't like growing in a winter place it needs to be avoided by getting the soil wet. 



Dragon fruit looks like this when it has harvest from the tree.


When you slice the dragon fruit all the juice will come out and it will look like this in the inside make sure you slice it on a plate or cutting board to make sure when it is the purple dragon fruit it doesn't go on your clothes.


Dragon fruit looks like a kiwi but on the sweet side and it is easy to remove it's skin off from the fruit it comes out easily by peeling it with your hands once sliced in the middle.

 It taste best when cold and cut up to put inside a Tupperware to put in the refrigerator.

 The next day when you go to the bathroom don't worry if you see seeds come out from your system it is normal reaction.

 Yes it is healthy to swallow the seeds from the dragon fruit it is edible.
