Mom Violy Craving for Filipino Dishes from Seafood Island Restaurant

  Mom Violy wanted to eat crispy pata and pinakbet from Seafood Island Restaurant located in Cubao, Quezon City near the old Shopwise. We had arrived early being the first customers waiting for the restaurant to open. Few minutes later customers began entering the restaurant and we have already placed our order. Mom Violy ordered her crispy pata and pinakbet. Carmina ordered garlic butter shrimp since I don't eat crispy pata. Family member ordered calamari and shrimp fried rice. Grilled Liempo Recipe



We never get tired eating liempo at the house this time it is a much easier recipe to cook and can be prepared once you have bought your liempo in order for the seasoning to stay longer in your liempo.

Sometimes if we have kimchi on hand in our home we would eat it with romaine lettuce the Korean way otherwise you can eat it with rice and it match well with pinakbet the Filipino vegetable dish.

Grilled Liempo Recipe
Ingredient:
  • 1/2 Kilo - Liempo
  • Salt
  • Griller
Seasoning:
  • Season your liempo by rubbing with your hands with salt to place it on the lempo wait one hour
Grilling:
  • Grill your liempo both sides make sure you don't over cook it so it will remain to be tender
