Mom Violy Craving for Filipino Dishes from Seafood Island Restaurant

  Mom Violy wanted to eat crispy pata and pinakbet from Seafood Island Restaurant located in Cubao, Quezon City near the old Shopwise. We had arrived early being the first customers waiting for the restaurant to open. Few minutes later customers began entering the restaurant and we have already placed our order. Mom Violy ordered her crispy pata and pinakbet. Carmina ordered garlic butter shrimp since I don't eat crispy pata. Family member ordered calamari and shrimp fried rice. Pair Up Your Merienda Together


Merienda is a snack often served from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Everyone always looks forward eating merienda that also comes before dinner is served.

Pair Up Your Merienda Together
  1. Filipino Pancit with pandesal with butter spread or puto with coffee
  2. Dinuguan with puto (steam sweet rice cake) with soft drink
  3. Chicken Arroz Caldo with takwat baboy
  4. Turon with vanilla ice cream
  5. Palabok with puto
  6. Champorado with dried tuyo
  7. Chicharon (pork skin) with vinegar
  8. Halo halo with palabok
  9. Pandesal with ice cream 
The drinks for merienda is always served with coffee, tea or soft drinks but other people recommend drinking fresh buko juice in a coconut shell.
