Mom Violy Craving for Filipino Dishes from Seafood Island Restaurant

  Mom Violy wanted to eat crispy pata and pinakbet from Seafood Island Restaurant located in Cubao, Quezon City near the old Shopwise. We had arrived early being the first customers waiting for the restaurant to open. Few minutes later customers began entering the restaurant and we have already placed our order. Mom Violy ordered her crispy pata and pinakbet. Carmina ordered garlic butter shrimp since I don't eat crispy pata. Family member ordered calamari and shrimp fried rice. Ferino's Bibingka in the Philippines


It is merienda time and this time why not try Ferino's bibingka and puto bumbong is their specialties

What is bibingka?

Bibingka is made of glutinous rice, water, salted egg and coconut cooked in a clay pot with banana leaf when being served and topped with melted butter spread on top with shredded coconut of your choice.

It is best eaten with coffee with the bibingka often served in a filipino restaurant or at home.
