Mom Violy Craving for Filipino Dishes from Seafood Island Restaurant

  Mom Violy wanted to eat crispy pata and pinakbet from Seafood Island Restaurant located in Cubao, Quezon City near the old Shopwise. We had arrived early being the first customers waiting for the restaurant to open. Few minutes later customers began entering the restaurant and we have already placed our order. Mom Violy ordered her crispy pata and pinakbet. Carmina ordered garlic butter shrimp since I don't eat crispy pata. Family member ordered calamari and shrimp fried rice. Beef Salpicao Recipe


Today our menu is beef salpicao and Manang V wanted to make sure it tastes how it is supposed to be I am her tester when it comes to her home cooked meals. This way we are both helping each other before it gets sent out to our family living somewhere else.

Beef Salpicao Recipe
Ingredients:
  • 1 Kilo - Beef tenderloin (cubed)
  • 1 Tsp - Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. - Butter
  • 3 - Cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 - Onion (chopped)
  • 2 Tbsp. - Olive oil
  • 2 Tsp - Oyster Sauce
  • 1 Tsp - Ground Black Pepper to taste
Marinate Procedure:
  • In a bowl combine Worcestershire sauce, oyster sauce, garlic, black pepper with beef tenderloin marinate for one hour place in the refrigerator.
Cooking Instructions:
  • In a pot add olive oil, butter when hot add onion with marinated include the sauce cook until meat is tender and ready to serve when hot in a serving plate.
