Mom Violy wanted to eat crispy pata and pinakbet from Seafood Island Restaurant located in Cubao, Quezon City near the old Shopwise. We had arrived early being the first customers waiting for the restaurant to open. Few minutes later customers began entering the restaurant and we have already placed our order. Mom Violy ordered her crispy pata and pinakbet. Carmina ordered garlic butter shrimp since I don't eat crispy pata. Family member ordered calamari and shrimp fried rice. Wow, I am excited to try something new a Whopper Plant Based Burger that is now available in the Philippines.
What is plant based?
Based on reading the plant based is made out of soy protein now you wonder how it will taste being 100% meatless.
I am excited being a person not into eating meat this is my outcome from ordering it at Burger King.
Being grilled just like a whopper it taste the same but it has a smoke taste and the patty is soft from the texture in your mouth.
It looks exactly like a whopper without knowing it is plant based something I would be able to eat again the next time around.
The price for a Whopper Plant Based Burger is PHP 175.00 ($ 3.50) or you can add additional extra with a price difference for extra cheese or extra bacon.
Whopper Plant Based Burger Meal is PHP 205.00 ($4.10) or you can add additional extra with a price difference from extra cheese, extra bacon and the size of your of your meal based size of your drink.
