See Iloilo’s best landmarks up close this January — history, culture, and photo-perfect moments.

Mom Violy, Tita Edna and Carmina have never been to Iloilo . Tita Edna suggested using her Philippine Airlines mileage to deduct 9,000 miles for a round trip to Iloilo and pay taxes of about 3,000 pesos ($50.85). Mom Violy and Carmina decided to do the same. Two weeks later, we learned Bacolod was recently hit by a typhoon, leaving fewer places to visit, so we changed our plans to stay in Iloilo, paying an additional 2,057 pesos ($34.86) for January 6–9, with Tita Edna leaving one day earlier on January 8, 2026.  Tita Edna told us that she has a friend Beth who can pick us up from the airport. Uniparentally plans had changed since her friend Beth and son could no longer tour us around, we decided to find ways to get around hire someone else. Jerson had picked us from One Madison Place where we had stayed during our vacation with the hours Mom Violy had requested. The first day we went to drive one hour and thirty minutes to reach  Miagao Church . We drove to our next destin...

Tuantuan Chinese Brasserie

After walking for a long time at UP Town Center I started getting thirsty and wanted to try a milk tea and came across this billboard and figure why not try and see how it would taste. Milk tea has been very popular every where and some how in the Philippines it is all spread out. You don't need to enter inside there is a Take Out window on the left side. I found out this place doesn't only catered for milk tea they also have other main dishes to try. I figure that would be another time around. I was able to get a take out menu and bring it home with me. Until next time when I visit UP Town Center in Diliman, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines.

Character In A Fairytale

When you become a character in a fairytale is because someone treats you differently not because you we're born with a silver spoon more because the life style you live in is different from them. No matter what or how they treat you in the Philippines it is called, by respect.  You may be older or younger than them yet the treatment is different when you also respect them. Your life revolves around you and sometimes people call me a Princess because I live in the Philippines where people cook for you, drive for you and so on. But, being a princess I still do what everyone does on a daily basis. I am not that spoiled brat people always call me. I live normal just like anyone else. Yes, some treatment is different when people look high upon you for example when I ride my bike with my male employee and I am the only female. They are behind me I feel I am being guarded by security guards. They make sure you don’t fall off your bike and make sure you are secu...
