Mom Violy Craving for Filipino Dishes from Seafood Island Restaurant

  Mom Violy wanted to eat crispy pata and pinakbet from Seafood Island Restaurant located in Cubao, Quezon City near the old Shopwise. We had arrived early being the first customers waiting for the restaurant to open. Few minutes later customers began entering the restaurant and we have already placed our order. Mom Violy ordered her crispy pata and pinakbet. Carmina ordered garlic butter shrimp since I don't eat crispy pata. Family member ordered calamari and shrimp fried rice.   The best thing in life is when you help an elderly person and in return they give you an advantage is offering their connections to you in every story lead to a happy ending. The gift given by other people is giving helping hands those who are need there is no age requirement there may be people who are much younger than you who also need your help or tips you can share with them they have no clue how to start something off and sometimes we learn from other people’s mistakes and learn not to do the same thing when we come to a situation that may encounter us in the future. Batchoy Recipe

Today our lunch is Batchoy which is almost the same as Igado the only difference there is miswa noodles in it. Batchoy Recipe Ingredients: 2 Kilos - Kasim (part of the pig) cut in 1/2 cubes 1/4 Kilos - Liver 2 Pieces - Ginger (sliced thinly) 1 - Whole Garlic - ( minced ) 1 - Onion (chopped) 1/4 Cup - Green Onion 1/2 Cup - Miswa Noodles 2 Cup - Water Patis to taste Cooking Instructions: In a pot pour small amount of cooking oil when hot add garlic, onion, ginger sauté add pork, liver, water, miswa noodles, green onion and add patis cook for 20 minutes or until meat is tender and cooked place on a serving bowl ready to eat.
