Carmina says Bebang’s halo-halo is summer in a spoon — but is it the real deal or just pretty colors in a cup?

Since last year, Mom Violy and Carmina had been wanting to try the much-talked-about  Bebang's Halo-Halo , but even when we passed by, the timing was never right. Mom Violy kept saying she’d wait until a branch opened closer to us. Then Becky told Carmina there was one along her commute route to work. The best part was that the Tomas Morato branch in Quezon City had just opened. When we arrived at CTTM Square , we found plenty of restaurants on the second floor. While checking the menu, we let the customers behind us order first. Mom Violy asked them for recommendations, and they suggested the Presidential for first timers. Unlike other places, Bebang’s Halo-Halo doesn’t have size options—everything comes in a standard size, making ordering easier. Seniors and PWDs get a discount per order, and you’re given something that lights up when your halo-halo is ready for pickup. Service was quick, so the wait wasn’t long at all.   The best thing in life is when you help an elderly person and in return they give you an advantage is offering their connections to you in every story lead to a happy ending. The gift given by other people is giving helping hands those who are need there is no age requirement there may be people who are much younger than you who also need your help or tips you can share with them they have no clue how to start something off and sometimes we learn from other people’s mistakes and learn not to do the same thing when we come to a situation that may encounter us in the future. Batchoy Recipe

Today our lunch is Batchoy which is almost the same as Igado the only difference there is miswa noodles in it. Batchoy Recipe Ingredients: 2 Kilos - Kasim (part of the pig) cut in 1/2 cubes 1/4 Kilos - Liver 2 Pieces - Ginger (sliced thinly) 1 - Whole Garlic - ( minced ) 1 - Onion (chopped) 1/4 Cup - Green Onion 1/2 Cup - Miswa Noodles 2 Cup - Water Patis to taste Cooking Instructions: In a pot pour small amount of cooking oil when hot add garlic, onion, ginger sauté add pork, liver, water, miswa noodles, green onion and add patis cook for 20 minutes or until meat is tender and cooked place on a serving bowl ready to eat.
