Carmina is traveling to the United States to spend time with her family. My dad planned a family gathering for Mother's Day at their favorite Pinoy restaurant . Since reservations aren’t possible, we arrived an hour early to ensure we could get a table for twelve before everyone else showed up. As my dad approached Isla Grand , the branch we visited in Pleasant Hills, California , the host at the door said they could prepare a table for twelve at five o'clock. Later, the server called my dad's name and guided us to our table. The place was bustling with people enjoying meals and celebrating Mother's Day. On our first visit to Isla Grand, I was captivated by the décor, noticing many native items that gave the place a fancy yet authentic Filipino feel.   The best thing in life is when you help an elderly person and in return they give you an advantage is offering their connections to you in every story lead to a happy ending. The gift given by other people is giving helping hands those who are need there is no age requirement there may be people who are much younger than you who also need your help or tips you can share with them they have no clue how to start something off and sometimes we learn from other people’s mistakes and learn not to do the same thing when we come to a situation that may encounter us in the future. Batchoy Recipe

Today our lunch is Batchoy which is almost the same as Igado the only difference there is miswa noodles in it. Batchoy Recipe Ingredients: 2 Kilos - Kasim (part of the pig) cut in 1/2 cubes 1/4 Kilos - Liver 2 Pieces - Ginger (sliced thinly) 1 - Whole Garlic - ( minced ) 1 - Onion (chopped) 1/4 Cup - Green Onion 1/2 Cup - Miswa Noodles 2 Cup - Water Patis to taste Cooking Instructions: In a pot pour small amount of cooking oil when hot add garlic, onion, ginger sauté add pork, liver, water, miswa noodles, green onion and add patis cook for 20 minutes or until meat is tender and cooked place on a serving bowl ready to eat.
