For those who are not use too using their calendar on their phone, computer and tablet often people who are not literate in using gadgets prefer writing down what events will occur as their daily reminder. My mom is in that old generation where everything has to be noted down on paper calendar to her it is useful in other ways of life people get accustom to jot it down.
