Mom Violy wanted to eat crispy pata and pinakbet from Seafood Island Restaurant located in Cubao, Quezon City near the old Shopwise. We had arrived early being the first customers waiting for the restaurant to open. Few minutes later customers began entering the restaurant and we have already placed our order. Mom Violy ordered her crispy pata and pinakbet. Carmina ordered garlic butter shrimp since I don't eat crispy pata. Family member ordered calamari and shrimp fried rice. I was craving for corn on the cob when my friend had mentioned that they brought some from California. I wanted it to be different having it cooked with black pepper. I found mine at Serenitea for PHP 80.00 ($1.60) for three pieces.
Of course I wanted to try other snacks that was provided in Serenitea was their Potato Rounds for PHP 80.00 ($1.60).
I decided to try their Fries N' Dip for PHP 135.00 ($2.70). It was a big serving lots of seasoning with matching dip. I use the dip on my corn it tasted really delicious.
I was solved with my cravings and what we call it merienda (snack) time in the Philippines.
I had ordered my food through Grab having it delivered by my home.
