Carmina found a
reasonable price of a Bahn Mi that can fill you up from the price you pay for
one sandwich you can purchase a second one to try which one you like the best.
You're choices are from
Lemon Grass Chicken, Pork BBQ and Beef.
Carmina is not really a
beef person so she didn't to opt it and go toward the two remaining flavors
with all the vegetables all in tack inside the Bahn Mi.
Vietnamese sandwich has
always been my favorite but I haven't found the right one that can say this is
the one.
In other Vietnamese
sandwiches I've tried before the bread is either too hard to chew or the
texture of the bread doesn't seem to be fit to make it into a Bahn Mee.
Finally from soul
searching Bahn Mee Express has solved my solution from what I wanted from a
Vietnamese sandwich the bread is soft; meat is flavored that reaches your taste
buds and all the vegetables inside can savory to be combined all together to
make a delicious Bahn Mee.
- Lemon Grass Chicken Banh Mi PHP 109.00 ($2.18) tastes a
mixed of Filipino Adobo with a combination of Vietnamese flavoring in the
meat. It is not a bad thing since we live in the Philippines there are
other restaurant that is influence by combining pate, cucumber, pickled
carrots and radish, mayo, cilantro and their special sauce.
- Pork BBQ Banh Mi PHP 109.00 ($2.18) has a taste of the Filipino Pork Barbecue something I had tasted when I had bite into the sandwich when you combine the pate, cucumber, picked carrots and radish, mayo, cilantro and special sauce that is inside makes it Vietnamese.
