Mom Violy's Birthday Lunch at Mamou, Gateway 2

Carmina asked Mom Violy what kind of food she would like to eat for her upcoming birthday. Mom Violy said she was craving for a restaurant that serves steak and lobster. Carmina gave Mom Violy a list of restaurants for her to decide with a link of the websites for her to see which one look something she would like to try. One week before Mom Violy's birthday she made her final choice where she would like to try  Mamou . Carmina had picked up Mom Violy at her home before heading to Gateway 2 located in Cubao, Quezon City. Mamou is located ground floor inside Gateway 2. Upon entering the person asked if we had any reservations however, they do except walk as well was seated at the table of our choice.  The person had handed us the menu. Beverages Menu Bread and butter were served after we had placed our order. Our appetizer was the Mamou's Bacon Steak. Mom Violy decided to order her lobster tail with rice. Carmina had ordered Beer Battered Fish and Malt Vinegar with choice of pot

Libre Means Free in Tagalog

I couldn't resist ordering when the family wanted Mexican food for themselves. I thought I would be taking a break from ordering food for dinner.

When someone says, Libre in Tagalog it means free food no will pass up that offer.

I am all in to try something new at El Nacho Libre checking out the menu is indecisive what to order too many Mexican dishes to chose from and if the place is right we can always order from them again is how I see it.

I figured why not try the Chicken Tinga Taco's (JDV's Choice) PHP 229.00 ($4.58).

Family member wanted the Chipotle Chicken Burrito for PHP 249.00 ($4.98).

Family member couldn't decide what they wanted and decided upon the Pulled Pork BBQ Rice Meal having the vegetables on the side with a cheat day of Chocolate Cloud Shake for PHP 379.00 ($7.58).

Of course everyone else followed and decided to get a dessert to top off their dinner from El Nacho Libre Kraver's Halo Halo on a humid night in the Philippines.

  • Kraver's Halo Halo PHP 99.00 ($1.98)

You will think a Mexican Restaurant wouldn't have a Halo halo but when you think of it we're Filipino anything is possible to cater to anyone needs in food.

El Nacho Libre doesn't have a physical store when I was looking them up in Google Maps they mainly do online selling you can check their menu to place you're own order to see whether it suits your own taste buds.

The reason why I say this because I was reading so many people's comments on what they felt about El Nacho Libre it is a free country to speak what you feel about what people tend to try, but everyone has their own taste buds.

Carmina had no problem with El Nacho Libre for a person who grew up eating Mexican food since high school growing up in California I know what Authentic Mexican food taste like and to me El Nacho Libre has passed my test giving me an opportunity to try their other dishes on another time to order from them in the future.

Note:

Carmina is not selling or advertising for El Nacho Libre just decided to order their Mexican food on a late evening.
