When the longing for authentic Pinoy dishes strikes in the U.S., Isla Grand stands ready to transport your taste buds back to the Philippines.

Carmina is traveling to the United States to spend time with her family. My dad planned a family gathering for Mother's Day at their favorite Pinoy restaurant . Since reservations aren’t possible, we arrived an hour early to ensure we could get a table for twelve before everyone else showed up. As my dad approached Isla Grand , the branch we visited in Pleasant Hills, California , the host at the door said they could prepare a table for twelve at five o'clock. Later, the server called my dad's name and guided us to our table. The place was bustling with people enjoying meals and celebrating Mother's Day. On our first visit to Isla Grand, I was captivated by the décor, noticing many native items that gave the place a fancy yet authentic Filipino feel. New Hostess Twinkies, Ding Dong and Honey Bun Iced Latte

Carmina had discovered Hostess Twinkies, Ding Dong and Honey Bun Iced Latte version when she was placing her order through Metro Mart application in S&R Philippines.

After checking what were the new items that became available in S&R I was thinking is there really such a drink and I couldn't stop putting my eye on them.

Carmina grew up eating Hostess Twinkies, Ding Dong and Honey Bun when she was young living in California.

There use to be a branch in the Bay Area where there was a discounted store near our dentist use to be when she was in high school.

My mom would bring my sister and I there to buy our bread and baked goods for our breakfast and snacks to bring to school.

Too bad the baked goods are too expensive to purchase in the Philippines sold elsewhere although the cool part I can drink the latte version.

Carmina was telling her friends in California if they ever heard of Hostess Twinkies, Ding Dong and Honey Bun the Iced Latte.

Her friends in California had no clue it had exist and felt where does Carmina find out stuff when they live there but are tuned out not until they tell them about food that do exist there.

Carmina loves to discover stuff on her own and does her own research by reading article online found out Hostess had announced it year 2020 on the month of March that the Hostess Twinkies, Ding Dong and Honey Bun the Iced Latte is coming out sometime on the month of April 2021.

Carmina was happy to find something that she can actually say by holding it on her hand and be the one to taste to see what it actually taste like for all her viewers to know about it before it runs out.

Each bottle of Hostess Twinkies, Ding Dong and Honey Bun the Iced Latte are PHP 119.00 ($2.38) 13.7 fluid ounce not including shipping and handling fee.
