Mom Violy Craving for Filipino Dishes from Seafood Island Restaurant

Mom Violy wanted to eat crispy pata and pinakbet from Seafood Island Restaurant located in Cubao, Quezon City near the old Shopwise. We had arrived early being the first customers waiting for the restaurant to open. Few minutes later customers began entering the restaurant and we have already placed our order. Mom Violy ordered her crispy pata and pinakbet. Carmina ordered garlic butter shrimp since I don't eat crispy pata. Family member ordered calamari and shrimp fried rice. Everyone had a taste of our meals with leftovers to bring home. Watch my video  Running Errands in the Philippines . NOT SPONSORED. Oriental Palace

What happens when you're favorite restaurant is decided to close down?

You end up searching for a new Chinese restaurant until you has decided the place you will always have your family gathering.

A place to keep ordering until you've tried the complete menu of your favorite Chinese dishes.

We've decided to try Oriental Palace to see what our taste buds will like it or not.

A way to find out is order common food we always order from a Chinese restaurant to go on based whether it has approved us.

Prawn Hakaw PHP 188.00 ($2.98) four pieces

Sharksfin Dumpling PHP 148.00 ($2.98) four pieces

Roasted Pork Asado Small PHP 480.00 ($9.60)

Hot Prawn Salad Small PHP 680.00 ($13.60) comes with fruit salad with the prawns.

Assorted Meat Fried Noodles (Medium) PHP 630.00 ($12.60) the only problem is the sauce wasn't enough to fill up the noodles. There we're too many meat and vegetables than the sauce itself when mixing it together. Something Oriental Palace has to reconsider if someone else decides to order their Assorted Meat Fried Noodles through Grab Food being delivered at your home.

Yang Chow Fried Rice (Medium) PHP 630.00 ($12.60)

Yang Chow Fried Rice (Large) PHP 840.00 ($16.80)

Carmina is done trying Oriental Palace who knows we can see what other dishes to try next time around or try to dine in person when that time comes.

What I have notice sometimes the food taste really different from base on my own experience during our pandemic some restaurant has something lacking in their own dishes.

For sure that time comes I will let you know how my experience was from what I see when I can walk in and dine inside to feel my atmosphere being inside a Chinese restaurant.

Note:

Carmina is not selling or advertising Oriental Palace Restaurant just a place I decided to try off and try their food.
