Mom Violy's Birthday Lunch at Mamou, Gateway 2

Carmina asked Mom Violy what kind of food she would like to eat for her upcoming birthday. Mom Violy said she was craving for a restaurant that serves steak and lobster. Carmina gave Mom Violy a list of restaurants for her to decide with a link of the websites for her to see which one look something she would like to try. One week before Mom Violy's birthday she made her final choice where she would like to try  Mamou . Carmina had picked up Mom Violy at her home before heading to Gateway 2 located in Cubao, Quezon City. Mamou is located ground floor inside Gateway 2. Upon entering the person asked if we had any reservations however, they do except walk as well was seated at the table of our choice.  The person had handed us the menu. Beverages Menu Bread and butter were served after we had placed our order. Our appetizer was the Mamou's Bacon Steak. Mom Violy decided to order her lobster tail with rice. Carmina had ordered Beer Battered Fish and Malt Vinegar with choice of pot

Pepi Cubano in the Philippines

Carmina decided to change her venue and try other food from other countries.

Temporary we can travel by food served in the Philippines and let other people know where their location is at this time I went ahead to try some Pepi Cubano sandwiches.

  • Pepi Cubano with slow roast pork, ham, pickles, mustard and cheese for PHP 190.00 ($3.80)

  • Tito Choropan with chorizo hamonado, sliced jalapenos, cheese and chimichurri sauce for PHP 170.00 ($3.40).

Tip:

We had requested the chimichurri sauce on the side preventing the Tito Choropan to get soggy during the delivery from Grab Food.

  • Pan De Verdura with roasted eggplant, bell peppers, zucchini, mushroom with mozzarella cheese for PHP 210.00 ($4.20).

Review from Carmina:

Pan De Verdura I had liked it a lot all my favorite vegetables are inside I just informed when I place the order to not to add the bell peppers in my sandwich.

I can taste some jalapeno inside it maybe the sauce they had added in the Pan De Verdura it is not spicy. I was able to enjoy my sandwich.

Both family members had enjoy their experience eating the Pepi Cubano and Tito Choropan.

All the sandwiches had arrived from our location in a paper bag wrapped up like this shown in the picture.

All sandwiches has been sliced by Carmina in her home where I had shown you how each one looked like for you to see the meat and vegetables in our food.
