When the longing for authentic Pinoy dishes strikes in the U.S., Isla Grand stands ready to transport your taste buds back to the Philippines.

Carmina is traveling to the United States to spend time with her family. My dad planned a family gathering for Mother's Day at their favorite Pinoy restaurant . Since reservations aren’t possible, we arrived an hour early to ensure we could get a table for twelve before everyone else showed up. As my dad approached Isla Grand , the branch we visited in Pleasant Hills, California , the host at the door said they could prepare a table for twelve at five o'clock. Later, the server called my dad's name and guided us to our table. The place was bustling with people enjoying meals and celebrating Mother's Day. On our first visit to Isla Grand, I was captivated by the décor, noticing many native items that gave the place a fancy yet authentic Filipino feel. Thinking Ahead on What If

Thinking ahead on what if something happened to me would you be able to take my place in what I do at my work.

Do you know what type of work I am doing to run the family business?

What if my parents pass away before me and something happens to me later in the future?

What happens if I die first before my parent?

Would you know what to do on what type of work we do?

Everyone has time to think ahead of themselves for their future plans and sometimes it may not be what you have expected.

Someone in your family start thinking of preparing themselves before they die.

Someone in your family want to make sure you know how to run the family business you begin to start classes to let that persons know who you need to contact, how the business position of one per does in order to keep the share of that person when they do pass away.

No one really likes to talk about the topic of dying but when we have the covid-19 and other virus our lifestyle changes preparing ourselves ahead of everyone else.

For example it doesn't necessary have to have a family business your running you can have a single parent who is also preparing themselves for you to understand them as well.

My mom is also going through that stage thinking what she will be leave behind if her daughter would know what to pay for and other things that runs in her household.

We come across a world of thinking ahead on what if will happen to us and will you be able to take control on that person when they leave ahead of you.
