Mom Violy wanted to eat crispy pata and pinakbet from Seafood Island Restaurant located in Cubao, Quezon City near the old Shopwise. We had arrived early being the first customers waiting for the restaurant to open. Few minutes later customers began entering the restaurant and we have already placed our order. Mom Violy ordered her crispy pata and pinakbet. Carmina ordered garlic butter shrimp since I don't eat crispy pata. Family member ordered calamari and shrimp fried rice. Everyone had a taste of our meals with leftovers to bring home. Watch my video Running Errands in the Philippines . NOT SPONSORED. Carmina was tired of eating unhealthy food and wanted to eat a Vietnamese sandwich to keep her appetite going toward a food that doesn't consist being oily.
Carmina loves eating Vietnamese Banh Mi Sandwiches and she doesn't mind trying something new at a new restaurant that carry the same food just cooked a differently.
Carmina had checked at Grab application to order her banh mi sandwich by typing it up in the search area and a list of restaurants had popped up reading everything one by one to see what I wanted to try.
Carmina found Bawai's Vietnamese Kitchen that had Banh Mi decided to try it for PHP 308.00 ($6.16).
I wasn't sure what type of meat was inside just gamble and ordered it next you know it had arrived wrapped up.
From base on my experience this is the first banh mi that had a lot of vegetables inside with loads of flavor something I really liked about it and the bread was toasted just right not being hard when biting into the sandwich.
I was able to get filled up with one banh mi at Bawai's Vietnamese Kitchen looking forward in trying their other dishes in the future.
While checking their Facebook Page it doesn't have the full menu I guess you just need to check on the Grab application to find it there.
Note:
Carmina is not selling or advertising for Bawai's Vietnamese Kitchen just curious why their review is a good one and now I know why.
