Carmina says Bebang’s halo-halo is summer in a spoon — but is it the real deal or just pretty colors in a cup?

Since last year, Mom Violy and Carmina had been wanting to try the much-talked-about  Bebang's Halo-Halo , but even when we passed by, the timing was never right. Mom Violy kept saying she’d wait until a branch opened closer to us. Then Becky told Carmina there was one along her commute route to work. The best part was that the Tomas Morato branch in Quezon City had just opened. When we arrived at CTTM Square , we found plenty of restaurants on the second floor. While checking the menu, we let the customers behind us order first. Mom Violy asked them for recommendations, and they suggested the Presidential for first timers. Unlike other places, Bebang’s Halo-Halo doesn’t have size options—everything comes in a standard size, making ordering easier. Seniors and PWDs get a discount per order, and you’re given something that lights up when your halo-halo is ready for pickup. Service was quick, so the wait wasn’t long at all. Each order comes in its own green plastic bag with a table...

Lychee Fruit Tea from Tea Little Pigs

Carmina is trying to beat the heat in the Philippines rather than going toward drinking milk tea she went on trying some flavored tea.

Carmina had looked under Grab an application she uses often during her pandemic to be able to find something she has in mind to drink on a humid weather.

Carmina found Tea Little Pigs and had ordered a Lychee Fruit Tea one of her favorite fruits that had a combo with twister fries flavored BBQ for PHP 228.00 ($4.56) since it is merienda time (snack).

Family member wanted to try their Taiwanese Chicken Bites Meal Combo with Lychee Fruit Tea and Classic BBQ Fries for PHP 267.00 ($5.34) one of the drinks is already in the picture on the top.

Family member just wanted to try their Potato Slices BBQ flavored for PHP 124.00 ($2.48).

Highlight of our meal is that the curly fries, fries and potato slices were able to maintain its flavored being delivered to our location while being humid in the Philippines.

Lychee Fruit Tea was refreshing and gave the flavored in what it is supposed to be. The holder container being delivered is reusable all you need to do is wash it to be able to use again being ecofriendly.

The only disadvantage is the Taiwanese Chicken Bites just taste local Filipino flavor who knows they can adjust the flavoring to make it be really Taiwanese.

Who knows we live in the Philippines food tend to reach to the taste buds of the Filipinos that is why it may taste that way.
