Mom Violy Craving for Filipino Dishes from Seafood Island Restaurant

Mom Violy wanted to eat crispy pata and pinakbet from Seafood Island Restaurant located in Cubao, Quezon City near the old Shopwise. We had arrived early being the first customers waiting for the restaurant to open. Few minutes later customers began entering the restaurant and we have already placed our order. Mom Violy ordered her crispy pata and pinakbet. Carmina ordered garlic butter shrimp since I don't eat crispy pata. Family member ordered calamari and shrimp fried rice. Everyone had a taste of our meals with leftovers to bring home. Watch my video  Running Errands in the Philippines . NOT SPONSORED. Seafood Chowder and Asiana Tropical Salad at Caerus Specialty Coffee + Bistro

Carmina is going to the sea to take a break of the heat living in the Philippines. My employees we're lying down on the floor resting on their break. I asked them if them are sun bathing they look at themselves and said they are on top of white sand.

One employee was frying some fish for their dinner at the kitchen he said right now I am having a barbecue at the beach so hot in the Philippines we can just imagine ourselves.

The heat from cooking and the humid only feel like we're at the beach while we're wearing our tank top and shorts in working hours can't imagine ourselves if it was true to be there.

Manang V said the water is iced cold to make me feel I am swimming in the water at the beach.

For my employees we can pretend we're somewhere else Carmina is at Pier 21 having her seafood chowder with shrimp, salmon and clam pieces for PHP 180.00 ($3.60).

Of course to top it off getting ready to wear our swim suit we need to go back to our figure is to eat Asiana Tropical Salad with mixed greens with sesame soy dressing, grilled chicken, corn, mango, walnuts and wonton flakes to complete our meal for PHP 290.00 ($5.80).

Carmina was able to order her food through Grab Philippines from Caerus Specialty Coffee + Bistro and enjoyed her meal something to look forward to try their other meals.

Note:

Carmina is not selling or advertising for Seafood Chowder and Asiana Tropical Salad at Caerus Specialty Coffee + Bistro just something I wanted to try on my own.
