Mom Violy had tried every restaurant in the mall—until word of Astons’ steak reached her, turning a casual lunch into a mission of delicious discovery.

Carmina planned to visit the newly opened Ikea at Trinoma on All Souls' Day , a Philippine holiday , thinking the mall would be less crowded. She didn’t invite Mom Violy, knowing she doesn’t enjoy going to Trinoma . While talking to Mom Violy on the phone, Carmina mentioned she was heading to Trinoma on Saturday, November 1, and invited her to come along, though she reminded her that she doesn’t like walking around that area. Mom Violy said she couldn’t recall ever visiting Trinoma, mentioning how aging parents tend to forget places they've been to. She expressed a craving for steak for lunch, so Carmina began searching for restaurants in Trinoma and sent her links to choose from. Mom Violy decided on Astons Specialties , which seemed to have the steak she wanted. Sweet Potato with Artichoke Salad Recipe


We often see people make potato salad and having small sweet potato around. I decided since they both are being grown from the ground why not try something new.

Only difference I had added something else to my sweet potato salad rather using chicken that we normally add on to our potato salad. I used what I had in my fridge to add additional flavoring and color to my sweet potato salad with some marinated artichoke that I had recently purchase.

Sweet Potato with Artichoke Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

6 Pieces - Small Camote Orange boiled, peeled and slice into cubes

1/2 Onion - Sliced into cubes

Mayonnaise any brand - Put how much you want on your sweet potato salad.

Salt to taste

Optional:

3 Pieces - Artichoke using 3 pieces and slice small (Marinated Artichoke from the bottle any brand)

You can add hardboiled egg to your salad and other ingredients you have in your home.

Preparing Sweet Potato with Artichoke Salad Recipe:

Combine all ingredients together and mix well ready to be served or if you prefer it cold place in a plastic container to put in your fridge.
