Mom Violy wanted to eat crispy pata and pinakbet from Seafood Island Restaurant located in Cubao, Quezon City near the old Shopwise. We had arrived early being the first customers waiting for the restaurant to open. Few minutes later customers began entering the restaurant and we have already placed our order. Mom Violy ordered her crispy pata and pinakbet. Carmina ordered garlic butter shrimp since I don't eat crispy pata. Family member ordered calamari and shrimp fried rice. Duty calls when my mom tells me she wants another order from Ha-inan to make it worth while I decided to try their desserts that was available.
I had place an order for Turon de Leche and Pichi-Pichi. You have a choice of how many pieces of pichi-pichi you want with an additional price to pay and what type of topping you want from cheese or coconut.
Of course I shared some with my mom for her to try. I only take a small bite and pass it along to the others.
My way to control my own self from eating more than what I should.
