Dive into a culinary journey at Ocho Seafood & Grill, where traditional Filipino seafood dishes transform family dinners into unforgettable feasts.

It’s not often we get to spend time with relatives visiting from the Philippines for a family member’s wedding. Carmina's father was getting married in Tacloban , and everyone flew miles to attend the big day. On the first day of our arrival, before the event began, my cousin Mariles suggested we have dinner together. Mariles asked if we enjoy eating seafood, and I told her we do. Carmina messaged all the family members Mariles wanted to invite and asked if they were free for dinner. Mariles had informed everyone we'll be having dinner at  Ocho Seafood & Grill  located in Tacloban. My dad arranged for a driver so we could all ride together in a van. Upon entering, Mariles informed all the family members that she had already preordered our meals. The only thing we had to order was our beverages. Carmina's New Haircut

Carmina was able to cut her own hair after one year and half not getting a proper haircut. At first I was hesitant to cut my long hair. After watching so many videos seeing people cut their own hair. It gave me some courage to do it on my own.

I had a new pair of scissors, rubber bands to tie my hair and followed what I saw online.

The tips I saw was to iron you're hair out to make sure it is was straight. I had used a flat ironed and made sure it was straight enough. I had combed my hair. It was advised to rubber band your hair at the end.

I did that and yet yes we looked funny.

I had a measuring tape to make sure it was the same length.

Of course everyone at home was asking me if I was for real that I will cut my own hair. Actually I wasn't planning to do it. Yet I was getting frustrated seeing my ends not even and for me my hair grows longer from the back.

After I took a shower I saw my ends uneven and decided to cut it while it was still wet.

I had used my blow dryer to dry up my hair and use my flat ironed to make sure it was even out the same thing I've seen done at the hair parlor.

My hair cut might have done by a hair parlor but with practice I was able to succeed.

To others it may not be a big deal that does it often.

Mom Violy cuts her hair when she gets bored or when getting annoyed with her hair. Only problem her hair tends to curl in the end of her hair explains why she gets annoyed.

Carmina comes over to her home she will ask her to straighten her hair on the back. I feel I am a professional.

In reality Carmina is not.

This is a lesson to learn, and you feel if you have cut your hair not the way you want it. It is always grown back.
