Mom Violy wanted to eat crispy pata and pinakbet from Seafood Island Restaurant located in Cubao, Quezon City near the old Shopwise. We had arrived early being the first customers waiting for the restaurant to open. Few minutes later customers began entering the restaurant and we have already placed our order. Mom Violy ordered her crispy pata and pinakbet. Carmina ordered garlic butter shrimp since I don't eat crispy pata. Family member ordered calamari and shrimp fried rice. Carmina wanted to try a new restaurant that serves something quite different from what we normally see online.
Carmina found So Green Philippines from her Grab application on her phone.
Norwegian Cold Smoked Salmon Salad is the one that caught my eye while glancing at the menu. The ingredients are smoked salmon, hard boiled egg, tomato, onion, capers, mixed lettuce, crotons, sesame seeds and dill dressing for PHP 390.00 ($7.80).
Carmina decided to try their Mixed Berries Smoothie with strawberries, blue berries, raspberries, syrup, milk and chai seeds for PHP 165.00 ($3.30).
