Mom Violy wanted to eat crispy pata and pinakbet from Seafood Island Restaurant located in Cubao, Quezon City near the old Shopwise. We had arrived early being the first customers waiting for the restaurant to open. Few minutes later customers began entering the restaurant and we have already placed our order. Mom Violy ordered her crispy pata and pinakbet. Carmina ordered garlic butter shrimp since I don't eat crispy pata. Family member ordered calamari and shrimp fried rice. Today is Carmina's 2nd Blogiversary for her website in celebration we have purchase a mini cake. In every occasion we would like to treat ourselves to something we have worked on.
Carmina has placed herself on a diet it is alright to splurge for one day.
We can easily burn it off.
Carmina has been deciding what type of dessert she wanted for herself. Carmina didn't want a big cake since Mom Violy is off for sweets.
There is no way to send her a portion of the cake.
Carmina wanted a cake that had fresh strawberries.
Carmina was able to find Lady Cake Taipei through Grab. Carmina also check to see if they have a Facebook Page in order to make her final decision.

Carmina had planned one week ahead to decide what she wanted to give herself a small gift.

Strawberry Layer Cake Box for PHP 300.00 ($6.00)
Strawberry Layer Cake taste exactly eating strawberry shortcake when I was young. It is not sweet and the strawberries are fresh.
Something you cannot feel guilty eating that is small enough to fill you up in a cute plastic container.
Strawberry Smoothie for PHP 200.00 ($4.00) Middle Sizes
The best part Strawberry Smoothie is not sweet and the strawberries are fresh. You have an option to choose what sugar level from 70% or 100%.
Chocolate Smoothie for PHP 150.00 ($3.00) Middle Sizes
The Chocolate Smoothie is dark chocolate even if it is 100% it is not sweet yet bitter.
Mango Pomelo Sago for PHP 220.00 ($4.40) 500ml
The Mango Pomelo Sago reminds me of mango pudding you often eat in a restaurant. The only difference there is fresh sliced mango and pomelo inside.
It is not too sweet balance it out having pomelo.
Overall Carmina made the right choice for her blogiversary treat looking forward in trying Lady Cake Taipei's other cakes, smoothies and pastries.
