Mom Violy wanted to eat crispy pata and pinakbet from Seafood Island Restaurant located in Cubao, Quezon City near the old Shopwise. We had arrived early being the first customers waiting for the restaurant to open. Few minutes later customers began entering the restaurant and we have already placed our order. Mom Violy ordered her crispy pata and pinakbet. Carmina ordered garlic butter shrimp since I don't eat crispy pata. Family member ordered calamari and shrimp fried rice. Hey Guys, you guess it right persimmon is in season. Carmina was able to find her favorite fruits.
The month of November we often see persimmon in season from where your from although in the Philippines it took awhile to find it where you can have it delivered to your location.
Carmina was able to find fresh persimmon from Builtamart for PHP 62.00 ($1.24) each piece.
Carmina cannot slice it yet since it is not yet ripe to eat. Carmina just wanted to let you know those who would like to purchase fresh persimmon what place you can find them.
